After the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, 34-year-old Ohnmar plans to leave the country with her fiancé. However, her plans are complicated by the difficult decision to place her sick mother in a nursing home. Struggling to talk openly with her mother, every conversation leaves Ohnmar overwhelmed with guilt and unresolved emotions. When her mother discovers her intentions, Ohnmar must make a choice between her personal escape and family responsibility.

This visual collage, composed of 23 film segments each of which runs for 23 seconds, is a poetic and narrative fragmentation of the filmmaker’s life in recent years. The filming of the segments started in 2021 and completed in 2023. This film documents the visual echoes of the times and life’s pulses, and it is a string that threads together moments of both light and darkness, love and loss, and small triumphs. This is the filmmaker’s attempt to contemplate on what escaped, what could be grasped, and what pointed the filmmaker in the direction of what could be hoped for and anticipated.

Between two difference religions, between rule and love. The three humans create their own ailments. It may seem like easy problem to solve but its's difficult in reality. It's very difficult to get out from this situation. Maung married her wife and promised her that he'll convert to Muslim. Maung's father wanted him to become a Buddhist monk. Maung, it’s a guy who has to struggle and couldn't get freedom between his dad and wife.
